Singer/Songwriter/Transformational Teacher/Leadership Coach/Philanthropist/Mom Rebecca Folsom shares her journey and a song or two!
Rebecca Folsom is a lifelong musician who grew up in the beautiful and natural surroundings of Boulder, CO. She has always been connected to nature, which has been a source of comfort and inspiration during difficult times. As a seasoned 20-year Zen Buddhist, Rebecca has made it her mission to help others find hope and light even in the face of tragedy.
Recently, Rebecca released her 13th studio album, Sanctuary, which she created to serve the underprivileged, inspire collective change, and create an international movement. Rebecca collaborated with activists, Zen masters, NYT Best Selling authors, Forbes America’s 100 Self-Made Women, social justice organizations, and those impacted in compromised, disempowered situations to write the songs for Sanctuary. This diverse group included prisoners, refugees, Vietnam vets, the homeless, elderly, and many others, who all came together in creative circles with Rebecca.
In addition to being a professional musician, Rebecca has been a transformational teacher and leadership coach for over 30 years. Nicknamed “the Creativity Shaman” by her clients, Rebecca has inspired thousands of individuals and leadership teams of national and international corporations to break down limitations, open more creative flow, and embrace more amazing life experiences. She also conducts vocal empowerment workshops that galvanize individual freedom and the creation of conscious communities.
Rebecca's philanthropy work includes serving with Blue Sky Bridge (a child advocacy organization), The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, Onetreeplanted.org, and IRC International Rescue Committee, among others. Her dedication to serving others is a testament to her compassionate and empathetic nature.
