Van de Wiel’s music video campaign “Used” partnered with the Canadian Women’s Foundation and the United Nations Spotlight Initiative to End Violence Against Women and Girls. She has also been recognized by the Global Music Awards with the Listener Impact Silver Medal for “Come Back Home (Abaco Relief Song).”

Moreover, she is a New York Times-reviewed Actor, and TimeOut called her "Pretty and Deadly" as Classical Theatre of Harlem's Milady De Winter.
Van de Wiel 's narrative short film 'Strip Clara' won Best Short Film at the London TV and Film Awards, Best UK Short Film at the CKF International Film Festival, Best Score at the Female Voices Rock Film Festival, and she received a nomination for Best Actor at the Golden Door International Film Festival.
Van de Wiel has performed at the United Nations Headquarters, Lincoln Center, and Off-Broadway. She stars in the psychological horror series ‘Mindscapes,’ which delves into the human mind and focuses on mental health. Her latest project, 'Won’t Be Displaced,' is an LGBTQ+ Refugee narrative short film, which she announced at the Cannes Film Festival on the Diversity and Inclusion Panel with Stage 32.
