Babs Hogan spent the first 25 years of her career as a personal trainer, health coach, and educator.  She has a master's degree in kinesiology and is a Certified Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine.  Today, she's researching the nutrients in high-quality cheese and is exploring the potential health benefits that cheese offers.  She is writing her second book on the topic.  There's a perceived belief that dietary fat is unhealthy, new science tells us otherwise. Oddly enough, 47% of Americans still follow the low-fat/high-carbohydrate diet.  Babs set out to prove her cheesemaking husband wrong by talking to dairy farmers, cheesemakers and scientists. After two years and interviews with 30 cheese professionals and few goats, she had to admit he was right.  High-quality cheese is actually healthy.  She is now obsessed and known as The Healthy Cheese Lady.  Her simple message: Eat cheese without guilt!Wed 8/22 at 1pmET/10amPT or anytime in the archives.  #WoMRadio is committed to raising awareness about bullying and we are sharing David Carraturo's heartfelt PSA in honor of his daughter, Julianna who tragically committed suicide this year. Thanks to our sponsors: Safety Bags, Inc., StadiumBags.com and Traci's Healthy Habits.  Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  Email Traci at traci.womradio@gmail.com for information on how to become a guest or sponsor!
