Her journey began as a dedicated special education teacher, advocating for students with diverse needs. However, motherhood shifted Mariela's focus. Craving accessible resources, she delved into prenatal and postpartum yoga certification, complementing her previous role as a fitness instructor.
Frustrated by the scarcity of podcasts addressing her pressing concerns Mariela launched her own called New Mom Talk. This led to the creation of a nurturing mom group, Carlsbad Mom Crew, fostering connection and resource-sharing. Mariela's mission is to empower
mothers at every stage, fostering a supportive community for guidance and camaraderie.
