I am a writer driven by a sincere desire to connect with young people through storytelling. After more than a decade in education, I made the difficult decision to become a children’s author at the age of 49. It has changed my perspective.
Becoming an author at this stage in my life has opened my mind to new possibilities and offered me the opportunity to inspire others. It is important to me to share life's possibilities with others - especially children.
Drawing from my personal story and interactions, I wrote the book, The Independents. As I'd hoped, the story has resonated deeply with its audience, offering connection, laughter, and thought-provoking insights into the human experience.
Through my writing and life experiences, I hope to inspire and uplift young hearts, reminding them that they are never alone in their journey. My journey as a storyteller is one of resilience, transition, and unwavering dedication to the transformative power of literature.
