Bringing Intimacy Back with Dr. April Brown
Dr. April Brown is a Licensed Mental Health Christian Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Sex Therapist, Approved EMDR Therapist, Gottman Level 3 Therapist, and a Qualified Clinical Supervisor. She is licensed in Florida, Wisconsin, New York, and New Jersey.
She has a thriving group private practice in Cape Coral and Sarasota called Cape Coral Therapists, where she specializes in intimacy, relationships, sex therapy, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, and ESA documentation. In addition, in her practice, she supervises 15 clinicians in helping them have their own private practice.
Furthermore, she offers couples intimacy retreats through her business called “Vacation Counseling”, she provides a free podcast called “Bringing Intimacy Back”, and she has released her seven eBooks on “Improving Intimacy” and they are available on Amazon Kindle and Audible.
This year she has created a Personal Intimacy and Partner Intimacy Assessments and resources to help individuals and couples with all aspects of intimacy. Thus, she is known as the Doctor of Intimacy.
Overall, since 1998 she has helped and empowered over 12,000 individuals/couples reach their goals of gaining insight, developing personal and relationship skills, overcoming struggles, and becoming more intimately connected with themselves, with their Higher Power, and in their relationships.
