My dream life began as a New Wave singer/guitarist in Boston, opening up for Joan Jett in the 80's. She's still gigging - I'm not. I fell into sex-drugs-rock n'roll lifestyle and didn't quit this lifestyle until a drug overdose when I first seriously prayed to a God Whom I did not know to save me. I decided not to have children because of endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and my mother's words to me who said, "I hope you have a child like you someday so you can know what misery is." That did it for me. Plus, getting molested by my step-father sent me into counseling for PTSD triggers in the 80's (triggered by car accident). I tried to join a convent but got turned away, so became a Postmaster instead in 1990. I quit the band to get married (annulled). I quit my USPS job to move to Nashville in '94 and started a Blues band. Had limited success but fell into a depression. Tried a Pentecostal church (raised Catholic) and went back to college after an A&R guy told me I was too old to get signed. Studied The Bible in Israel and found out Jesus was a Jew, so I started studying the Book He taught: Torah. Graduated from college in 2005 at age 50 and was a fish out of water for the next 10 years as a public school teacher. Quit after 10 years due to PTSD triggers from the students. Spending the rest of my life putting myself back together again. Dabbled in aromatherapy. Full-time RVer. Married at 62. Converted to Judaism. Now in FLA with hubby writing songs, recording, released my first book and loving my life after 60 torren…
