Host Traci Timmons speaks to Theresa Siaw about her life of service to the community and how it is NEVER too late to start a new life
Theresa Siaw is a social entrepreneur and director of OMNI Healthcare, a multi-location health clinic for the under-served. She runs OMNI Medical Student Training, which helps students who have trained at foreign medical schools prepare for residencies in the United States. Theresa has a B.A. in Multicultural Marketing from Depaul and works with Centro Romero health fairs - helping immigrants and refugees achieve self-sufficiency. She sponsor Kids Soccer, community back-to-school programs, and the food pantry at New Life Covenant Church Southeast. Currently, she is working with other community partners at the OMNI Health Care Division Street location to launch a program to reintegrate former gang members back into the Humboldt Park community in a positive, productive way. We continue to advocate for the Kind Campaign - in their efforts to end bullying. We encourage all forms of kindness. Thanks as always to Smith Sister Bluegrass for our closing song.  Tue 10/16 at 1:00pmET/10:00amPT or anytime in the archives.  Thank you sponsorts Safety Bags, Inc; StadiumBags.com and Traci's Healthy Habits. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Email dori@wordofmomradio.com to become a guest or sponsor!
