Shara Danziger of Shara’s Paperie
Thursday November 17th on Word of Mom Shara Danziger is sharing Shara’s Paperie, which opened in Memphis in 200. With the goal of bringing new, designer invitations into the marketplace along with serving as the personalized gift shop for the Memphis market, and shopconfections.com represents Shara’s take on what an online personalized gift and stationery should be. In the time since Shara’s Paperie opened, they have become Memphis’ premier location for custom wedding invitations, creative stationery ideas, personalized invites, printing and unique cards.
As their retail storefront grew and our design capabilities were expanding, they wanted to expand to see what we could do. The Shara’s Paperie in-house design staff worked to bring bold colors and vibrant designs to the Confections line. They’ve applied the designs to invitations, stationery and personalized items including melamine plates and bowls, clipboards, water bottles, lunch boxes and a variety of gifts and accessories for children and adults.
Never content to remain “stationary”, once the Confections line was complete, www.shopconfections.com was launched as an online gift, stationery and invitation store. They hope you will enjoy browsing through their creations, and by choosing your own fonts and colors, you, too, will have a hand in the design of your personal creation. Two Amazing MOMpreneurs This Week on BlogTalkRadio
Melissa Patton of Bee-Tee’s
Joining me on Word of Mom are two amazing MOMpreneurs. First let me share Melissa Patton, founder of Bee-Tee’s! With a passion is to motivate, stimulate and create good character and great attitudes for everyone from babies and kids to Moms and Grandmas! Bee-Tees started in 2009 with t-shirts that teach character. Melissa designed Bee-Tees as a way to help begin conversations with her then 2-year-old daughter Lena about kindness, honesty and friendliness. They were having issues at school with sharing our toys and Melissa needed to find a way to let her know that “beeing fair” means sharing her toys and giving everyone a turn. Bee-Tees was a perfect way to have a teachable moment in the morning about what her shirt said and then she’d look down at her shirt during the day and remember Mommy talking about beeing kind to her friends. The concept caught on and before long Bee-Tees were on sale in boutiques and stores around the Southeast.
Then one day Bee-Tees caught the eye of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store buyers and a large display of Bee-Tees tees, hats and stationary went up in all of their stores in 2010! Through this nationwide exposure the little brand called Bee-Tees caused a stir and hundreds of women began to email requests for a larger platform for our positive messages. They wanted more than just tees. Bee-Tees has evolved into an attitude, BeeAttitudes! Visit bee-tees.com to see how you can share so awesome BeeAttitudes with your family and friends.
Elise Wilkins of isABelt
Also joining me is Elise Wilkens of isABelt Ltd… founded in 2007. isABelt was the brainchild of partner and inventor Leslie Wilkins-Gaudio. Leslie came up with the idea if the isABelt while shopping for a pair of new low-rise jeans. As cute as the pants were, they would not stay up and you could see right down the back of her pants if she bent over or sat down. She found that she was wearing a belt even when she didn’t want to or her outfit didn’t call for a belt. Leslie saw that her friends all had the same problems and the isABelt was born.
isABelt is the Original invisible belt, the MUST HAVE Fashion “fix-it” accessory. A thin, strong and flexible clear plastic belt, that virtually disappears when worn, providing you with the assurance that all is secure without even knowing it’s there. isABelt prevents back gap, slippage and of course, belt bulk and belt bulge. The isABelt solves all of these fashion issues and many more. isABelt Ltd has three partners: Elise Wilkins, Leslie Wilkins-Gaudio and Lori Wilkins-Vaughan. Visit isabelt.com to see all the products available in the versitile isABelt line.
