#WoMRadio celebrates Earth Month with Tonia Torrellas and It’s My Bag

Tonia Torellas is a registered nurse, homemaker, community volunteer and serial problem solver TURNED GREEN/SUSTAINABLE INVENTOR!!  Her greatest joy is in nurturing and caring for others.

It’s My Bag was born when she had to find a way to get rid of all the waste from her husband’s single use dry cleaning bags while cleaning out closets in 2009.


It’s My Bag has been patented and proven as a reusable option for cleaning services, but “users and re-users have reported loving them for:  TRAVEL, Bridal, Promotional, Golf outings & Other EVENT Give-Aways, Closet Organizing, Costume transport/storage and Security.

It’s My B, Inc was established in June 2009 in response to the EPA urging world leaders to reduce single use plastics. It’s My Bag will be one of the featured vendors at the 2018 Passport to Health and Wellness Expo, this Sunday April 22, 2018 – in celebration of Earth Day.

The 2018 Passport to Health and Wellness Expo occurs twice a year, and is next at the Double Tree by Hilton in Bristol, CT on April 22.  Interact with sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and practitioners to learn more about resources available for living a healthy lifestyle.

Door Proceeds will be donated to the CT Children’s Medical Center (https://www.connecticutchildrens.org/) and Hartford Hospitals Integrative Medicine- Angie’s Spa fund (http://www.angiesspa.org/).
All funds will be used directly for patient care and will be matched to the maximum allowed by the grants for each organization.
