Chen Yahav-Levanon is the Co-founder and CEO of the Kumbaya App, overseeing all business decisions for the gig marketplace company that connects teens with parents who need care services. She is a serial entrepreneur, having previously co-founded and led both self-funded and profitable SimilarTech and ClicksMob (acquired in 2017 by AIM: XLM, ranked #28 in Forbes’ list of America’s Most Promising Companies in 2015 and listed at a Deloitte Rising Star winner in 2015). In 2019, Chen was featured in Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 40 under 40 as an individual to watch. Prior to co-founding Kumbaya, Chen worked as an investment banker at Bear Stearns and Lehman Brother and was also a former European champion hurdler. She graduated cum laude from Brandeis University with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics and holds an MBA from Bar Ilan University in Israel and Fudan University in China. Chen is also a mother of three young children and is passionate about helping people thrive in their professional lives while raising children in the modern world.
Dr. Adi Zief-Balteriski is the Co-founder and Chief Behavioral Officer of the Kumbaya App. She applies her expertise as a behavioral science specialist in the field of community, wellness, technology and consumer behavior, to enhance the gig marketplace app that connects teens with parents who need care services. She is also a researcher in the field of well-being, human computing interaction and technology and presents her work at universities and organizations in the Bay Area. Previously, Adi opened a successful private practice and a consulting business and engaged in product consulting for consumer and wellbeing products. After working several years as a consultant for startup founders in the Bay Area, she shifted her focus towards the tech world. Adi began working on products at startups focused on the well-being of individuals and communities. Later, she worked as a product manager being part of the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Adi holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University, and L.L.B in Law and B.A in Business and IT from the Interdisciplinary Center. She is also the mother of two young children and passionate about making a positive impact on people’s well-being and advocating for the empowerment of women to succeed in modern society.
