I’ve always adored radio, ever since I was a little kid. I’m truly excited about appearing on Dori’s “Word of Mom” show Thursday, May 26, 2001 on BlogTalkRadio. The show will air at 2 pm EDT/11 PDT. I really dig that Dori has labeled me as an “internet powerhouse!” I’ve never actually been called that before, so that’s pretty nifty! It’s quite the honor — thank you, Dori!

My goal for Thursday is to not only talk about Pregnancy.org and who we are as company, but be transparent about myself, too. I’m a proud mom who also happens to be a successful “mompreneur.” It hasn’t been an easy journey for me, but I’ve enjoyed what I’ve learned and experienced along the way. After 15 years of building websites and online community, I want to help other mompreneurs make a difference!

We’ll be talking about how Pregnancy.org’s unique, how we’re “built by parents, for parents™,” what some of my biggest “ah-ha” moments have been as a mompreneur, to hopefully taking your questions about balancing work and family among other things. No question is too silly! If time allows, we’ll discuss some of the really exciting changes coming to Pregnancy.org and how it’s going to rock for our members and new members-to-be!

Until we speak on Thursday, I’ve always enjoyed sharing and contributing to the “mompreneur brain trust.” It’s a personal goal that what I “put out to the universe” helps to inspire others reach for the same! There is no limit when it comes to making our dreams a reality! I’ve always believed in positive thinking, great networking, and the good friends I’ve made along the way. Each experience — each person has been beyond valuable. Mompreneurs will always hold a special place in my world.
