The New Word of Mom Radio
When I did a 2 part segment on MOMpreneurs on my first BlogTalkRadio show “Three Wise Girls” with co-hosts Linda Alexander and Debbie Barth, I had no idea that would be the stepping stone to Word of Mom Radio. I did these segments because I had connected with fabulous women on Twitter and wanted to give a voice to fellow MOMpreneurs; amazing women finding the balance between raising a family and building a business. After the 2nd episode, Linda called me and said that I had found a niche and should do a show of my own and Word of Mom began.
Week after week, I shared MOMpreneurs and Business Women and gave voice to people making a difference by pursuing their dreams. As BlogTalkRadio changed their policies for free shows, I had to make the decision as to whether or not to pay to be on the air and stay a place where women empower and support each other, or let this little side line go. Well, I decided that this wasn’t just a hobby for me; I am truly committed to the women I have met on my social media journey, so pay to be on the air I did.
As the show grew a new dream grew with it. More shows, more information and bringing some of the fabulous women I have met through Social Media on as show hosts with me. This is now a dream come true as Word of Mom has become Word of Mom Radio with new shows, new show hosts, Word of Mom Moments which are 3-5 minute segments from A Joyful Place Called Home, Pioneering Business by Design, University of Mom, MOMpreneur Made Products and more. Janice Clark – my Social Media Maven – will be hosting BizMSolutions on Tuesday’s spotlighting all things Social Media that will focus and propel your marketing and take you to new levels of engagement. Sweetie Berry, Mandy Bobolia and Melissa Patten will be sharing their segments in Word of Mom Moments and new shows are in the works for later this spring.
Watching the evolution of this dream is a marvel to me. I feel honored and blessed that these amazing women are part of my dream and sharing a wealth of information with all of us.
