Word of Mom with Dori DeCarlo
May 19 on Word of Mom at 4pmEDT/1pmPDT I am talking with Maisie Vultaggio about how she turned adversity to her advantage. The next time you are faced with a major life challenge, instead of focusing on what has been taken away, be grateful to the gifts you have now been given by your experience. Maisie, a contributing author in Thank God I… Book 2, knows the practice of finding the silver lining all too well. After a traumatic skiing accident nearly took her life, Maisie had to retrain her brain how to read and walk. Instead of victimizing herself by asking, “why me?” during the extensive and excruciatingly painful recovery, she became increasingly fascinated with her progressive capability to restore her neurological capacity. This discovery helped to inspire Maisie and her husband, Peter, to design a new technology for managers and business owners that retrains their brains to maximize their decision making, problem solving, change adapting, and communicating abilities. Maisie has also been fortunate to be chosen as one of the 2010 Top 10 MOMpreneurs of the Year due to her commitment to the success of her family AND business, and is also a contributing author in an Amazon best-selling book series about finding gratitude in all of life’s perceived challenges. Tune into Word of Mom on MomTV Maisie shares her wonderfully inspiring story with all of us.
